Angling Night 2007
Some of the winners and highlights from our 7th Annual 'Angling Night'.
A big thank you to our guest speaker Alan Ferguson and all those who supported the evening.
Below are the winners of the various trophies we fished for throughout 2007.
Guest speaker Alan Ferguson presents Richard McMullan with the Islander Shield, fished for over on Rothesay back in May.
Garry Lewis collects The Claymore Trophy from Branch Secretary Joe Toner.
The Esox Humungus Trophy for the heaviest pike caught during 2007 went to Ricky McIntyre for a lovely fish of 31lb. Unfortunatley as he was on holiday Ricky was unable to be there to collect his award. We joined him by live satellite link........actually eh no, he was presented at the next meeting.
Ricky also picked up the Winnoch Cup.
Richard McMullan and Leigh Kelly collect the Pairs Event Trophy, a new competition for 2007 which was also fished for on Rothesay.
Joe presents Garry Lewis with the Thomas Duffy Memorial Shield fished for annually on Loch Awe.
